Nitriding is a low temperature heat treatment process that diffuses Nitrogen into the surface of a metal to create a hard surface layer. Important properties can be achieved simultaneously, including higher corrosion and abrasion resistance and additional fatigue strength. Without the need to quench, part remain “clean” and “distortion free”.

With a wide variety of furnaces available, we are capable of of handling a comprehensive range of product and batch size, from small series through to 10 Tonnes in weight, and sizes up to 4.2m long and up to 1.6m in diameter.
